Tent Peak (Tharpu Chuli)

TharpuChuli peak known as a Tent Peak.TharpuChuli peak is the easier and popular trekking peak located at Annapurna region. TharpuChuli/Tent peak open for climbing under Nepal mountaineering Association. N.M.A declared the Mt.TharpuChuli peak in group B category climbing peak. Main attraction of TharpuChuli peak is panoramic views of Himalayan peaks like Annapurna I, Annapurna south, Annapurna III, Annapurna V, GangapurnaMachhapuchhare and some other Himalayan range’s view.

We follow the usual route north-west ridge for tent peak summit. Because of North West ridge is easier then south-east ridge. TharpuChuli Peak is technically easy, but challenging peak. Tharpuchuli is situated in the heart of Annapurna base camp at an altitude of 5663m. TharpuChuli/ Tent peak is most climbed trekking peak of Annapurna region. In the TharpuChuli Peak climbing goes along the Annapurna sanctuary trekking trail. We reach Tharpuchuli base camp after crossing a steep descent into the South Annapurna glacier. We set Tharpuchuli base camp at 4500m. High camp for tent peak established at (5,000m). Next Day the last bit pushed up to summit of Mt Tharpuchuli 5663m from High camp and back down to MBC.


Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu International Airport and transfers to hotel.
Day 02: Half day Sightseeing around Kathmandu city and preparation day for climbing.
Day 03: Drive/ Flight to Pokhara, overnight at hotel.
Day 04: 1.30 hrs Drive to Naudanda and trek to Tolka,
Day 05: Tolka toJhinudanda
Day 06: Jhinudanda to Dovan,
Day 07: Dovan to Machhapuchhre Base Camp,
Day 08: MBC to Annapurna Base Camp.
Day 09: ABC to TharpuChuli Base Camp, overnight at tented camp.
Day 10: Extra day in TharpuChuli Base Camp,
Day 11: Base Camp to TharpuChuli High Camp, overnight at camp.
Day 12: Summit TharpuChuli and back to ABC
Day 13: ABC to Sinuwa
Day 14: Sinwa to Ghandruk
Day 15: Ghandruk to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara.
Day 16: Free day in pokhara or fly back to Kathmandu.
Day 17: Free day in Kathmandu.
Day 18: Departure to your home.
